Fish Alarm 2.0🐠🚨

From Turtle Island, we continued on the boat: Actually, snorkeling at St. Pierre Island (a popular spot) was planned, but the weather conditions (strong currents & high waves) unfortunately did not allow us to snorkel there.🤿 So we headed to a bay that was beautiful as well.😍 From the boat, we went straight into the water. Unfortunately for Janike, the crew threw food into the water to attract the fish, and thus about 1000 fish surrounded the boat. It took Janike a while to muster the courage to venture into the fish swarm, but we then swam away from the boat, and it became more pleasant.☺️ Unfortunately, we didn't see an underwater turtle (that would have made the turtle day perfect🥺), but we did see numerous colorful fish; it truly felt like being in a giant aquarium.🐠 Our highlight was an octopus that we could observe up close near a coral.🐙🪸 After the boat brought us back to the starting point, we walked directly to the bus stop to head to one of the most popular beaches on Praslin (Anse Lazio). Unfortunately, no bus came at all, so after 20 minutes of waiting, we took a taxi there.🚖 At the beach, Yannick went snorkeling again while Janike just chilled. The plan was actually to take the bus back. But we met a couple at the beach who had done the day trip with us and lived right next to our accommodation. Since they had a rental car, they kindly took us back.😇 For dinner, there were noodles again.😅🍝
