In the Pyrenees: Font Romeu
We traveled to the French mountains to escape the heat in August and are camping at 1800 meters in the ski resort of Font Romeu. (Don’t worry, there’s no snow at 1800 m in August...

We left our 1800 m high storage in the French Font Romeu after a clean thunderstorm and made our way back to Spain, but this time to the east coast north of Barcelona. According to pollen forecast services, the situation for allergy sufferers is supposed to be better there. Although we escaped the heat wave in the mountains, the pollen trick didn't work out as we hoped. We already knew that grasses bloom later at higher altitudes, but we didn't expect the effect to be so strong. Well, now we’ve arrived in Palamos after a beautiful drive through the Pyrenees and are parked at the local campsite with our van. We have a cool spot on the terraced site with a view of the sea. It's shady because of the many pines, but they also serve as a resting place for birds at night… you can imagine the rest. Anyway, as long as there are few pollen, let’s see if the pollen services are right 🙏
