L'Estartit

After an overdose of nature at the Palamos campsite, we may have given up our long-term camping life for good and booked ourselves into a holiday apartment in L'Estartit; the view is already a reason for the strategic change. After an initial visit to the area, we can say that when the customers of the many diving schools are all out here by the coast, it can't get very crowded on the promenade. There are also plenty of captains on the streets, and those who probably still lack a boat; you can buy a looooot of little shoes, etc. But we found a bar where the owner wears a Ramones T-shirt and plays the appropriate music, so I'm all set. We'll be unpacking our guitars and enjoying our vacation here. We are surrounded by woods, so Marina should be doing well; that's the plan. We're looking forward to the week; the apartment is really nicely equipped.
