Back home

After nearly 6 months and over 6,500 km, we have safely arrived back home. Munich welcomed us with beautiful autumn weather and golden-yellow colors.

We wanted to find a place with low pollen levels where Marina could feel much better, and where we could possibly settle down (at least partially). Unfortunately, that didn't quite work out, but we learned a lot and discovered many beautiful places. It was a wonderful experience to travel for so long through France, Spain, and Italy, gathering impressions of the societies there, even though these countries are so vast that we really only brushed the surface. We can learn a lot from all these countries, for example, to be more sociable, to fold our elbows in, and to talk to one another.

We have already picked our travel destination for next year: the Po Valley. So far, we've only driven quickly through it but never stayed because it was too foggy for us. This time, on the way back, we took back roads and saw, hey, this could actually be really nice here…
