Pau
We made a stop on our way to the east coast of Spain in the city of Pau, which has 80,000 inhabitants, located at the foot of the Pyrenees. I had never heard of this place before....

We traveled to the French mountains to escape the heat in August and are camping at 1800 meters in the ski resort of Font Romeu. (Don’t worry, there’s no snow at 1800 m in August ;-) It seems like this will go quite well; for the next 14 days, temperatures are consistently around 26/27 degrees here, while in the places we’ve been so far, it’s typically about 3 degrees warmer, with many peaks reaching the mid 30s to 40s.
We will really be able to relax here. The view is splendid, the air is great, the camping spot is cozy, and we've found many solutions for issues that have been occupying us: cooking without sweet grass and low gluten, the necessary shopping trips and orders, optimizing the camping equipment, getting the van repaired (glass break), and a flight home and back due to an issue at the apartment. Everything has fallen into place; the to-do list is empty, now we enjoy the next 14 days 😎
