Skating Step⛸️ and Rockettes💂

Today was already our last day in New York😮‍💨. Definitely the warmest with 4 degrees🥵.

Christmas Eve breakfast at the Ritz Diner, delicious and hearty again. On a whim, we booked an afternoon slot for ice skating in Central Park.😍

But first, we went back into the city; WE absolutely wanted to go to Macy's. Hardly anyone inside.😬

Afterwards, we dived back into Times Square and marveled at the skyscraper canyons of the big 🍎 once again. It's just incredible.

Arriving promptly at Central Park, we made our way to the one-way direction, which was not hard to find. The people🐍 could be seen from afar.

Ice skate rental and changing shoes was a complete hustle. A miracle that apparently everyone left the area with their own shoes. Pure chaos.

But eventually we were ready to start, though we first had to wait for the ice master, who made everything nice and smooth for us.

At some point, we got on and the sliding began, but we didn't fall. 💪

We still need to practice, though!

In any case, it was an unforgettable couple's skate for us on this Christmas Day 🥰. With the right shoes, we sped back to the hotel on quick feet and the gondola, to change.

At 8 PM, we had an appointment with the Rockettes and their Christmas Spectacular Show at Radio City Music Hall. Never seen anything like it; Americans really know how to entertain. Truly worth seeing!

A hot dog🌭 and a pizza🍕 on the way home, a final farewell to the Christmas Tree🎄 and the last ride with the gondola 🚡 over the East River.

What a Christmas Eve 😍🤩

With this, we conclude our Christmas in New York. It will remain in our memory forever.

Tomorrow, we fly early at 9:30 AM to San Diego. Out come the shorts.😎
