Day 4

On our second day in Krakow, we visit the Centrum Wielokulturowe w Krakowie/Multicultural Center Krakow. After a short walk and crossing the Vistula River, we reach a large and very modern building in a neighborhood that mostly consists of new constructions. 

After a warm welcome, we learn a lot about the work of the local staff and volunteers since the Corona pandemic. We are particularly impressed by the incredibly diverse range of various courses, as well as the straightforward and open interaction with people of different backgrounds. Many of those who initially sought help here now wish to give back and are offering their own courses or similar activities. 

After a delicious shared meal, the majority of the group takes a tour of the former Jewish ghetto. We learn many fascinating facts, which inevitably lead to reflection.
