Tag 1: Departure

An exciting journey begins. We meet at Munich Airport and fly together to Krakow. Despite the difficulties that Lufthansa has put in our way, we arrived in good spirits, albeit slightly delayed.

After a nice lunch at the International Youth Meeting Oświęcim, we were greeted by Hannah, who is doing an International Volunteer Year in Oświęcim. First, she gave us a tour of the Jewish Museum and the last remaining synagogue, which highlighted the Jewish life in the area more closely. Afterwards, she was able to show us what we had just learned during a city tour.

After checking into our hotel, we concluded the evening with a lovely dinner.
