Day 3

After the day full of impressions, Tuesday began with an early train ride to Krakow. Once we arrived, our luggage was quickly taken to the hotel and we set off again immediately.

Situated in an inconspicuous residential area, the group reached the office of the Caritas colleagues in Krakow. There, we were greeted warmly and familiarly by the director of the Caritas Archdiocese of Krakow. After being provided with many delicious cakes and coffee, we received an initial introduction to the history of Caritas in the area.

Next, we were introduced to the structures and major projects. We learned a lot about the differences as well as the similarities of the organization. After that, we had a tour of the office, where the local chapel particularly stood out, where a small devotion takes place every day at 12:00 PM.

After this wonderful visit, we said our goodbyes and made our way back into the city. In the late afternoon, we explored Krakow in two groups and discovered beautiful spots and great food.
