How often do we hear complaints and think ourselves that there is no real coexistence, no solidarity among us humans anymore, but only egomaniacs populating this world.
How precious are contrary experiences: When our car wouldn’t start one morning as we were leaving the campsite, we were quickly surrounded by helpful fellow campers (the masculine form chosen deliberately 😃). Even though the skills were certainly varied, their solidarity at least got us to the next workshop. Here, the car battery was swiftly replaced, but unfortunately, the problem seems not yet resolved; the electronics are malfunctioning somewhere. But what remains is the precious experience.
After exploring the town of Kuldiga, where we admired not the highest (2 meters) but the widest (275 meters!) waterfall in Europe, along with a beautiful sculpture park, we find ourselves in the evening at a cozy campsite with many apple trees and two saunas, but without any guests and especially without an owner.
We did seek thrilling experiences. Now we have them:
'Lost in paradise', after all.
