2. Rest Day in Undeloh

Last night there was a full moon, but we could only see it through the trees. Nevertheless, I slept very well and feel ready to continue my journey on the e-bike.

However, today my friends made me a very special offer. To fulfill my wish of seeing my long-time friend Ulla, they offered to drive me to the hospital in Kiel. Axel, Ulla's son, described the way there.

So we left shortly after 9 o'clock, and about two hours later, Ulla was delighted by the surprise visit. In the meantime, my friends took a walk with Merida, their little poodle.

Despite not having seen each other for a long time, Ulla recognized me from her hospital bed as soon as I entered the room. We talked for a full hour and laughed about many shared moments from the past.

In the meantime, unfortunately, traffic had increased significantly, and we had to take detours. This made the trip home over two hours long.

Aside from eating, resting, and enjoying, there are no further plans for today. And that’s fine, because I want to plan for tomorrow after I’ve already taken care of my e-bike before our departure.
