Tag 13 Hiu Paus

We got up at 5:30 AM today to be as early as possible with the whale sharks off the coast of Gorontalo.

The locals attract the animals with rice and small shrimp, and we quickly found ourselves in the midst of four adult creatures, all measuring between six and eight meters long. The animals are accustomed to this place, as they have allegedly been coming here for many years to feed on the scraps from the now-closed fish factory.
