During these 2 days on the Kinabatangan River, we enjoyed the tranquility, ate delicious food, went on 4 boat rides, and took 2 jungle hikes. We were able to observe a tremendous amount of animals - proboscis monkeys, various species of macaques, an orangutan and a gibbon, 5 species of rhinoceros hornbills out of the 8 that live in Borneo, herons, crocodiles, a floating wild boar, various birds of prey and kingfishers, a huge herd of elephants that swam across to the other side of the river, and much more...
