Across London and up and down the subways (London Underground / Tube).

Mind the gap!

First through the artists' quarter and then towards Tower Bridge . There, a warship, the HMS Belfast , is anchored in the Thames as a museum. And quite a few new modern buildings stand out here, including The Shard, Walkie Talkie and the gherkin The Gherkin (steel construction of the dome by Hannes, best designer ever).

We let ourselves drift through the city and there are simply too many people at Buckingham Palace. Instead, we can watch two guards from the palace guard practicing the changing of the guard in a side street. We definitely have to go into Harrods , but it's all very touristy, although we have to buy a few souvenirs for the family.

Then we retreat, passing Westminster Abbey , another Starbucks and at home at 7 - again to the Fox.
