First of all, we want to thank you for holding your thumbs! It helped! We received a new car delivered to the police station yesterday (see title photo). It is indeed newer and better!🥳

We were really happy and continued our journey for 50 km to a camp by the reservoir. There we treated ourselves to a nice, large beer and then went to bed early.

But there was not much peace… Just as we fell asleep, the alarm system of our car started beeping … very loudly! Doors unlocked, doors locked. Now it should be quiet, we thought! Just as we drifted back to sleep - the same game again! Reading the instruction manual… we then didn’t lock the doors and peace was maintained!
Until this morning! After coffee and a minimal breakfast, we want to start - the car won’t start! Some electronic crap is preventing the car from starting! We tried everything possible and then called Avis again. They don’t know what’s going on either – and now we’re waiting for Michael again – just like yesterday – he will slowly start to curse us! Somehow this time the initial bug is particularly big!
Michael arrives very reliably, changes a battery, and leaves with the words: I hope, this was the mistake!
We also hope and continue our journey to Stefan Dunes, where we probably won’t have any network.
