Seychelles - Day 2: Island Mahé South

Falling asleep and waking up to the sound of the sea - simply delightful.
After a cozy start to the day with a delicious breakfast - highlights: scrambled eggs, porridge, and baby bananas - we set off by car to search for a beach.
As low tide was currently occurring around midday until late afternoon, we cruised along the steep and narrow roads, looking for a nice spot to swim where we wouldn’t sink with our beach towels in the evening. Our search led us into a national park, where Speedy crabs hid in holes in the sand and many small shells could be found.
Unfortunately, our plan to sell coconuts to fund our vacation or just stay here forever didn't work out, as we failed miserably to shake the coconuts from the palm tree.
We ended up on a reasonably sized, almost seagrass-free beach and jumped into the pleasantly cool water with our snorkeling gear.
It didn’t take long before we could see the first fish and colorful corals. Many creatures were swimming in the water, from small zebra fish to the large angelfish, and from a trumpet fish to a lionfish. It’s hard to believe that just two days ago we were admiring wildlife on our safari and now we were diving into the underwater world.

After a relaxing day at the beach with a shore walk, we stopped at a restaurant on our way home. Apparently, we picked up a 'gusta' in the water, because today's menu featured fish with ginger and passion fruit sauce.
While eating, it seemed that the mosquitoes were also hungry.
Only Roli alone had 6 bites, which is double as many as after one week of safari.
