Rudi was gracious with us. Only this morning at 9:00 he beeped us. We were almost done anyway. At 2 degrees Celsius and fog, we continued towards Salamanca. The sun was already shining shortly before arrival. (Thanks Matthias for the good weather wishes) 😂 Burki stayed at the bus on a parking lot right by the river and I didn't have to go far to the old town either. Salamanca has its roots in Celtic times and is famous for its artistic sandstone architecture. I found the New Cathedral with its magnificent carvings particularly impressive. The atmosphere was very pleasant. There weren't too many people out and about. Outside the cafes, people enjoyed the sun. Many cycled or jogged along the river. Afterwards, we covered quite a distance. We landed in a small village just before Seville. The municipalities really deserve praise. There are often nice free parking spaces, today even with electricity.
Well, of course Burki took the French moccasins with him. After all, he comes from the hunter-gatherer tribe.
