The last 2 days at the campsite flew by quickly. Fortunately, after changing our spot, we got a pitch right by the sea. Yesterday, we drove to Sagiada and spent time at the beach with Tanja and Charly. The ferry didn't leave until around 24:00. One last treat for the two of them in Greece. After that, we said our final goodbyes. Benno spent the last few hours going in and out of the sea. The plan was different. He was washed with dog shampoo at the campsite. From then on, he shouldn't go in the sea anymore. Yeah right.
I would also like to say again to Tanja and Charly: Thank you very much for the wonderful time together in Greece. Somehow it always fits between us. Just like in the old days. Uncomplicated interaction. Have a safe journey home and enjoy your stopover in South Tyrol.
For Burki and me, the normal travel routine starts now. So far, it has been more like a holiday mode. Yesterday evening, we drove on a bumpy road to a peninsula. A secluded spot where we stood about 20 years ago. I absolutely can't remember it. It felt good to look out at the sea, or rather to look out for shooting stars, after all the hustle and bustle of the campsite. We saw four or five shooting stars. Actually, we wanted to send one last signal to Tanja and Charly because the ship passes by relatively close here. Unfortunately, we failed. We had to give up looking out for them at 1:00 due to tiredness. Sorry.
