Day 25-27 Mountains-Killini wild camping spot Mellisa Castro Killini

Once we arrived at the camping spot in the mountains, we decided to go for a walk. Paul and Robi went up the hill, while the others followed the existing path. Tanja cooked something delicious for dinner, and then we had our usual cozy gathering and a pleasant night.

The next day, our destination was the Killini wild camping spot. The thermometer often showed 40 degrees or more. That's when I gave in and pressed the button that said "Aircondition". I couldn't concentrate anymore, and that was the main reason.

Upon arriving at the wild camping spot, we quickly jumped into the water to cool off. Unfortunately, it was more like taking a bath. In the evening, we looked for a campground to choose for tomorrow.

A democratic vote (yes, it works wonders here) resulted in Mellisa Camping. The spots right by the water were a joy for us. We will stay here until Friday, then our children will head towards Italy. This morning, while jogging, I spotted a Caretta Caretta turtle on the beach. I think it was dead, but I didn't see any external injuries. It was the first time I saw a Caretta in person, and I was quite surprised when I saw it. It actually had a very nice aura, friendly, just like in children's movies. I continued my run, feeling thoughtful and a little sad.
