I didn't like the parking space we went to yesterday at first. There were 4-5 other campers here and it was relatively close to the city. Across the street is the small island of Spina longa. A former leper colony. While walking with a constant view of the island (you can still see a few dilapidated buildings and walls), thoughts came to me about how miserable the people there must have been? Not nice.
This morning at 7:00 am there was already bright sunshine and 20 degrees. No wind and suddenly I found the parking space very sympathetic. After breakfast, I lay down by the sea and listened to an audiobook about the discovery of Tutankhamun's tomb. Wonderful, looking at the sea with melancholy and becoming a little sad. I will miss it very much, it has been our companion for almost half a year now.
After it became cloudy, we drove the short distance here. And again a completely different landscape, although it is also by the sea. Hardly any housing, an endlessly long coast, the waves crashing against the rocks. A wild and original area.
After a long time, Burki pumped the right amount of air into the tires again, I swept the bus properly. Somehow a feeling of departure. But hey, you at home, you are what we are really looking forward to.
