Rest day (for my luggage)😀
This morning started with a lovingly prepared breakfast. Since the weather is supposed to be nice again today, I thought I’d take a ride around Lake Starnberg. It felt great to...

Yesterday morning was wet and rainy. All my rainproof gear packed, I set off towards Munich. I actually wanted to ride more along the Isar, but the signage for the Isar bike path led me astray. At some point, I decided to trust my gut feeling, at least until I reached the Thalkirchen campsite. It was still raining, making navigation difficult for me. I can't rely solely on voice navigation in the city, and using my phone on the holder isn't possible because of the rain. Feeling quite annoyed, I arrived at Farina and Philipp's place in the afternoon. However, I quickly shook off the annoyance before stepping inside. 😀 To welcome me, I was immediately offered a coffee, and just like that, the world felt right again. 😜 Farina had a summer party from her workplace on a decommissioned boat. In cooperation with Prosecco Doc, it was a very nice event. I also got to meet Farina's lovely colleagues, tasting delicious antipasti and Prosecco. Thank you very much for allowing me to be a part of it.
Today, I visited the Residenz, a grand monument that housed dukes, electors, and bishops from the House of Wittelsbach from 1508 to 1918. It's a massive complex featuring styles from the Renaissance, Rococo, Baroque, and Classicism. Opulence without end. I am always amazed at how all of this was created and how fortunate it is that it was not completely destroyed by wars.
First stop reached after about 550 km. 💪
