Day 4: Chilling at the beach in Porto Santo

Today is a chill day!

It's time to sleep in. However, we aren’t completely lazy.

We take a beach walk towards Calheta Beach, around 1.5 km past the 5***** Pestana hotel complex. There is quite a bit of hustle and bustle at the beach.

It’s getting warmer, so we turn around and walk back to the hotel.

By the way, we find our section of the beach to be by far the most beautiful, as there are really no stones, rocks, etc., in the sea - just sand!

After a jump in the pool, we have lunch at the hotel bar and play a round of mini golf.

However, the difficulty level here is increased, as the courses are all crooked and the mini golf ball is a golf ball - it bounces beautifully around the place - and constantly off the course 🤣

We still have a lot of fun! (Or perhaps just because of that...?)

Mini golf is included in the hotel price and doesn’t cost anything extra!

In the afternoon, we splash around in the sea and pool and treat ourselves to a delicious coffee & cappuccino at the hotel beach bar 'Atlantico'.

Later, we walk to dinner at the neighboring restaurant 'Mare Sol' by the beach.

We eat Bolo do Caco with garlic and I have a vegetable soup with it.

After the meal, we stroll along the beach towards Vila Baleira and stop again at the small beach bar. Today we treat ourselves to a whole liter of sangria 😁😁😁

One last sundowner at the hotel beach - this is how the vacation can continue!
