Christmas atmosphere in Vietnam

Sunday 10th December (60 km)

dull weather...I sing Christmas songs loudly to get into the mood....well we only have to go 60 km...in the evening we eat something other than soup for the first time:

deep-fried fish

deep-fried spring rolls

and bean stew....

YES

Monday 11th December (60 km)

and as always- Schnaps for breakfast....we know that already :)

After that we continue strengthened towards Hanoi.

On the way there we stop at a football tournament (because we have time) and are surrounded by many children....

Everyone wants to be in the photo

at 2 pm we reach Trung's small apartment, where he, his mother and 2 dogs live.

We stroll around a little, go to a real supermarket- the first one in a month!

After that we treat ourselves to a craft beer and return to Trung.

We are 'spoiled' with homemade food (fish and fish soup :)) and in the evening we get a Vietnamese course.

Tuesday 12th December

In the morning Trung quickly buys a traditional cake.

I'm really looking forward to something delicious and sweet for breakfast.

That's why I look pretty stupid when he explains to us that the Sticky Rice with beans and pork is. But it's really very delicious!!
