We are not moving on just yet and are enjoying this great spot at the deserted campsite. Workers come and go, working on the electricity and laying PE water pipes...maybe the place will be in operation again...it’s certainly beautifully located. Freddy continues to try his
luck fishing and I keep crocheting my didgeridoo cover...it will soon be finished and will protect my didgeridoo from bumps and scratches...now I just have to keep practicing diligently and then it can also go public 😂😂 but without circular breathing...somehow it’s harder than I thought.
Since we are staying for another night, we decide to go to a nearby restaurant, the Mezedotehneion in Likoporia at the Gulf of Corinth. This restaurant is unassuming on the main road but is really great. Grilled calamari and grilled anchovies are our dishes...but the highlight is the fries with dill.....I love dill and these fries have really pleased both me and Freddy. I need to remember this for home. The red wine we drank with it was heavy, but very pleasant to drink...we are not regular restaurant-goers, but we really enjoyed the evening.

In the morning, breakfast, freeing the car windows from salt so that the view is crystal clear again, and then we continue towards Corinth. Park4night says there is a power charging station in Vrachati at the harbor...so off we go...we need power and a next camping spot.
The drive there takes us again over the back roads, which we really like because you get a better view of the towns. Upon arriving at the harbor, we find the power station right away, but realize that this station is only for boats and requires a special card. Unfortunately, we don’t have that, and so we discuss for about 3 seconds whether to continue driving or just stay there. Fellow campers from Frankfurt give us the tip that there is a campsite about 16 km away that has everything a heart desires...power, water, gray water drainage, etc. So we wait it out at the harbor, and tomorrow we will go to the campsite.
The fishing rod is pulled out and luck is tried...ok, we could enjoy the sun at the harbor basin....but somehow no one wants to bite. It is getting noticeably cold and supposedly it will rain tomorrow and throughout the rest of the week...we’ll see...that’s probably not bad for the nature here.
Quickly cooked dinner (gnocchi with onions, bell peppers, garlic, and minced meat) and then the evening can begin. Freddy is editing a film for YouTube, I am writing the blog and responding to a few comments on YouTube, and just like that, the evening is over and we can get ready for bed...phew, what a stress 😂😂.
