and sure enough, Freddy has climbed over 900 steps up the castle to get a tremendous, gigantic view over the old town of Nafplio and the port. A photo from up there captures everything. Amazing and impressive. I'm glad Freddy wore a light blue T-shirt; it made it easy to spot him among the rocks. <br /></p><p><br /></p><p>We decide that we won’t spend the night there but rather return to the old spot near the package shop. It’s definitely quiet there, and we could sit in the sun for a bit and recharge, as the pull-down bed needs power... that's the slight hiccup. Camping behavior is not welcome at the port, and we’re of course adhering to that. <br /></p><p><br /></p><p>The day is coming to an end, and Freddy knows what he has done. </p>

We drive to the port of Nafplio and park our Rex there. We lock the doors and activate the alarm system. It should be Ford Nox, and that makes us feel secure that no one will break into our vehicle. We stroll through the beautiful streets and look at the shops. It's idyllic and truly wonderful, even for people like us who don't like crowds.
