As if someone from above wanted to tell us that we can handle a little more, it went into the decisive phase from late evening of Day 016 to 017 🤦🏼‍♀️

My Ulli now also got the symptoms - just without fever ☝🏼& the hotel had turned off the water. There was a 'problem with the pump'.

Now we had to carry the 30 liter bucket to the second floor several times to eliminate the 'most urgent' and at the same time 'MAIN PROBLEM'.

With the hotel in good graces 😅, two,

three twinges in the stomach and far too little food, we tried to catch up on time.

Back to Bali - Uluwatu 🏄‍♂️Surfcamp🏄🏼‍♀️

The joy of a 4-hour steamboat ride with deafening noise was limited.

The transport on the mainland took only another 2 1/2 hours - somewhat faster than expected. There we stood in front of our accommodation for the next five days.

Of course, we brought the Bali Belly with us. 🤮

Tag 018

The s🏄‍♂️rf-pl🏄🏼‍♀️n originated on Gili and were booked before the crunching and grumbling began.

We didn't want to know anything more about the dry bread, the sticky rice and the ordinary instant noodles.

For the conclusion of our little Bali-Lombok-Gili hopping tour, we were greeted with a great accommodation including half-board. It had a meega sloping position with a view over the entire coast. With this joker, we slowly found our smiles again 😊.

Surfers are cool dudes! And the cliché proves true!!

My🔋isn't even a quarter full.

My sweetheart had strong cramps again overnight, which made it impossible to cautiously approach the unknown🌊. So we looked for a supposedly easier task.

Walking along the beach, meeting another buddy who lives here😉

Great anticipation and in the end a big misunderstanding😏

The recipe for misunderstanding:

Ingredients:

2 COUPLES, phone without local SIM card, Google Maps, steep slope, heat, Bali Belly, beach

Preparation:

1. Make an appointment at a popular beach with a befriended couple.

2. Check everything meticulously at a wonderful hotel WiFi connection - Google Maps shows you the way!

3. Give the couple some time and add the phone without a local SIM card.

- With two different addresses from Google Maps for the same beach -

4. Let the two go unreservedly at each other. They will never find each other because neither can get in touch with the other. Can you already hear the crackling and cursing?

5. Now you wait for 2 hours with little shade at the beach.

6. Of course, the mistake of the two addresses is recognized - but too late. Both couples are already at the intended correct beach but about 2km apart. A supposed solution is thus in sight.

7. Now add the harsh, rugged and rocky 20-minute descent and the equally not better ascent. In doing so, don't forget a good shot of BB. Feel free to add a little more if you like.

Finally, we went for a round with the dudes including a joint dinner and pleasant conversations at the dinner table.

Three more episodes of GZSZ brought us a reconciling end and a good night's sleep.
