Pichilemu

Who would have thought that ski underwear would be my best friend on this trip? Packed for the nights in Bolivia's salt flats, it's already coming in handy on nights with temperatures of 8 degrees.

A few days ago, we picked up our camper. The functional Mitsubishi van, equipped with the essentials, will take us through Chile for the next three weeks. We're starting from Santiago to Pichilemu - Chile's surfing mecca. The town, still extremely low-key and non-touristy for a surf mecca, offers wide bays and (at least now in the off-season) empty spots as well as nice cafes and restaurants.

On the search for a suitable kite spot, we spontaneously found a lagoon a bit south of Pichilemu. Flat water, constant wind, and just us alone on the water - what more could you want. We'll be spending the next few days here.
