I’m catching up on posts and today is Saturday (we travelled on Friday).
We had a lazy start, did some laundry, and then strolled in to Bot, along a disused railway line. This is prime cycling country and there were indeed lots of bikes on the path. Bot was authentic, cute but not touristy, and it had the key shops; baker, supermercado and a bar. It also had a butcher, not our normal haunt but we needed some chicken for Betsy. She is not totally well, with soggy emissions both ends, including two trips out in the night. We therefore plan to feed her just cooked chicken for a couple of days, laced with dog probiotic, to hopeflly get her better. We are not sure if it is the change of wet food or the heat that is affecting her. Poor little thing.
The last picture is Jane trying the dog rucksack for Betsy. The cap is just for the sun, but she wears it well
The rest of the day will be chilling, keeping an eye on Pompey, and a walk and a drink, maybe a meal, at the onsite bar and restaurant.
