Day 15: Evening in Tam Coc

In the morning after breakfast, we started our next attempt to take a boat tour. However, by nine o'clock, the whole marketplace was crowded with people, so we decided to cycle back to our accommodation and check out. After that, we sat by the pond, ordered some food, and planned our onward journey. At 3:00 p.m., on the third attempt, we finally managed to start a boat tour without endless crowds on the water. We explored the beautiful landscape of the dry Halong Bay by boat and enjoyed the tranquility of nature. Then we quickly returned to our accommodation to change, as we had planned a bike tour to a great viewpoint in the area in the evening. After half an hour of pedaling and more than 500 steps, we could admire the stunning landscape from above. After dinner in Tam Coc, we drove to Ninh Binh and waited at the train station for our night train to Dong Hoi.
