Holland/Amsterdam and Haarlem

For my birthday, I received a long weekend in Amsterdam as a gift. We combined that with a trip to Bonn. I plan the trips in Europe myself, with a map in front of me, and then I choose the appropriate B&Bs. It's fun to plan a trip and in Haarlem, I found a B&B near the houseboats. Every morning, a packed breakfast basket was waiting outside our door. The nearby beaches are easily accessible for long beach walks.

Aalkmar is an absolute tourist attraction, it was very crowded, but we had never been there before, so we checked it out.

Haarlem, Amsterdam's little sister, with many nice restaurants, is a must-visit.

and then Amsterdam ... really beautiful ... especially at night ...

As a final highlight, we had a voucher for the Kameha in Bonn, right on the Rhine, a very chic hotel, which you don't experience very often.
