Snow Fun!

Waking up to a clear blue sky and a rising sun is a great start to the day. This morning at breakfast, we tried the real Swedish crackers, and they were a hit!

In the other accommodations here, there are families with whom we are doing a number of activities together. And how coincidental, another family from Hardenberg and a family from Ommen, all with children.

Time to go outside together, it's snow fun time!

The girls are sledding behind the snowmobile over the lake and through the forest, smiling from ear to ear and wanting to go again and again!!

Mom and Dad are in a tube being pulled over the lake by the snowmobile! Maximum snow munching, Dad can’t get enough of it!

Meanwhile, a fire is being lit for lunch, and of course, we scouts help out to get the job done, as the owner was struggling with it🤪.

The Swedish pancake batter is very salty. Apparently, the Swedes do this in many products. Does this help to stay warmer? Or could it just be a myth?

This afternoon there was a blockage in the sewer near the cabins, so the owners were busy with a messy job near the pump.

With this lovely weather, we are entertaining ourselves just fine, time for the slide again!!

After that, there was still time for a round on the sleds or in the canoe, and of course, Dad goes in the tube one more time!
