This morning we enjoyed a delicious breakfast. The pancake and watermelon were really tasty!!
At checkout, people were surprised about where we were going. Swedish is a funny language to hear, and you really can’t understand anything!
We walked to the parking lot where the car was, and of course, we tested the slide and a lounge chair on the way.
In the car, there was a bottle of water that was frozen. Marit found it really fun and did everything possible to make the ice melt. Warming it with her hands, talking to it, blowing on it, and would a little fart help too?
After doing quite a bit of shopping, we drove about two hours to our destination.
On the way, there were heavy snow showers and a car with a hazard triangle that was only going 30 km/h. Apparently, there are young people who are allowed to drive in a modified car from the age of 15.
We encountered very little traffic alongside these young people. Secluded through forests and along large lakes.
We were warmly welcomed upon arrival, and the cabin is small but nice! There’s even a hut nearby where we can sleep! We will definitely do that.
Almost immediately, we put on warm clothes and hopped on the snowmobile for a ride in the woods!! This is super fun, and the girls are really enjoying themselves in the sled.
On the way, we stopped at a viewpoint where there were candies, and further along, there was a drink hidden for dad and mom. Mmm, nice with this cold weather!
After the ride, there was still enough energy to go sledding. Fantastic, trying to go as hard as you can off the track. What a joy!!
Mom; I’m going to dream about this tonight.
We ended the evening by the campfire with hot chocolate and marshmallows.
