We are going on a trip!🩵

Today is finally the day!!
Off on an adventure in Sweden.

Grandma is taking us to the station early, after which the girls can proudly check in for the train by themselves. It’s very warm on the train, phew!!, sweating, or do we just have too many clothes on?😋

Schiphol, it is so big here and there is so much to see! We managed to check in the suitcase and we are going through security in our socks! After that, we walk to the gate.
Mind your step!

Time to fly! We have four seats together, the takeoff gives you butterflies in your stomach, and what a noise. Marit finds it hard to get comfortable during the flight. Karlijn is by the window and is taking in the view. Just before landing, beautiful snowy landscapes and the houses look tiny!

We take the bus and pick up our rented car. The brake is not our best friend but, the car definitely is. A beautiful new blue car with lots of luxury!
In Stockholm, it’s noticeable that there is little snow here. 

Quickly stop by the supermarket for some treats, no idea what it costs in Swedish crowns. But oh well, it will be fine.

Marit drinks and drinks. Well, then you need to pee. A quick stop and peeing in the snow, brrrrr cold!!. 

After 3 hours of driving, we arrive in Sundsvall, it’s dark and the lights of the city look beautiful. There is a lot of snow here and the sidewalk is literally an ice rink. The spread gravel helps, and that way we easily reach the hotel. 

Time for a Swedish meal, potatoes, salad, and a pork chop in pepper sauce. 

The first day of the trip is over! Time to go to sleep.
