Maruia Falls Carpark, Murchison

Today we are driving to Westport on the West Coast and taking a walk at Cape Foulwind. Unfortunately, we cannot spot the resident seal colonies there. We spend the rainy afternoon in a scenic rest area, where we take care of some things. Due to the rainy weather, the landscape of the West Coast looks completely different and has its own charm. In the evening, we stay overnight at a campground at Fox River and meet two guys from Bavaria, with whom we have dinner together and chat a bit until the heavy rain forces us to go to sleep.
