Fox River Freedom Camping Site, West Coast

When else can you swim under a waterfall? Today we have the opportunity to do just that, which is why we drive to the Coal Creek Falls near Greymouth. After a 30-minute walk, we jump into the cold but refreshing water. After spending some time there, we drive to Greymouth for a shower, do some shopping, and then head to a campsite at Lake Brunner. We spend the time before sunset doing some crossword puzzles, until we sit by the lake and watch a beautifully colored sunset.
