Whataroa Hotel Campsite, Whataroa

With the intention of hiking to the Franz Josef Glacier, we start the day. Due to the storms and heavy rains of the past months, it is not possible to use the hiking trail. The trail stops at a viewpoint, so we turn around at this point. We use the rain showers in between to prepare the sale of Zuhlo. In the evening, we drive to a campground at Lake Mapourika.
