With the night train from Bukhara deep into the Uzbek infinity to Khiva, my narrow favorite before Samarkand. Very sleepy, also touristy, but much less intrusive. It was fantastic to let my gaze wander over the rooftops. And exploring the city at different times of day and night was just as amazing.
