Barcelona

A few days before we went to Barcelona, Kalina, Ada, Marta, and Bianca made us a surprise visit. They were in Valencia for three days in a vacation rental just down the street, and we went out to eat and spent time at the beach with them.

After they left, we spent another three days in Valencia packing our bags. Then we set off and arrived in Barcelona in the evening. We took a walk through the city to see the Sagrada Familia, one of the most famous churches in the world. It has been under construction since 1882, even though the architect, Antonio Gaudi, passed away in 1926. The church is quite tall and very impressive.

At midnight, we then took the ferry to get to Sardinia…
