Winterswijk

A visit to Obelink to pick up a few things was undertaken in November 2023, during which we also explored the small Dutch town of Winterswijk. Winterswijk was first mentioned as a parish around the year 1000. In the Low German language area, the suffix -wik means 'fence' in the sense of an enclosed area.

We can highly recommend the Pan-Latin American restaurant 'De Revolutie'. There, we enjoyed very delicious tapas.

From there, you can easily walk into the city.
