Mallorca - Day 3

After breakfast, we took bus line 25 to the capital of Mallorca

Palma de Mallorca.

The picturesque old town offers many attractions to explore.

The area known in Spanish as “Casco Antiguo” contains most of the city's landmarks, including the majestic cathedral La Seu, the royal palace Almudaina, and the Es Baluard museum of contemporary art.

We first took a sightseeing tour through the old town on one of the 'Hop on - Hop off - buses' for orientation before exploring it on foot.

You can also enjoy wandering through the medieval streets of the old town. Of course, we took a break in one of the many cafés, which is almost a MUST.

There are plenty of Gothic churches, picturesque squares, and centuries-old courtyards in the old town, and you definitely need a lot of time to see them all.

In the “Golden Mile,” which is also part of the historic center, modern desires are fulfilled. This includes the Passeig del Born, which connects to Avenida de Jaime III and where some of the most famous and luxurious designer brands in the world are represented.

Romans, Moors, and Christians have all left their marks here in the old town.
