We have been wanting to get out of the city for so long, packing our things, the day is just beginning. Heading towards the sun. We feel the freedom, it is coming back to us here.
On September 14, we set off towards Lake Garda.
For a stopover before the Gotthard Tunnel, we aimed for the
Stellplatz Pferdestall Islern
Talacker 1
6468 Attinghausen
and slept very well there in the middle of nature with a mountain panorama.
After breakfast, we continued our journey. Before the Gotthard Tunnel, we made good progress, luckily no traffic jams, allowing us to quickly reach the border to Italy after the tunnel.
At Lake Garda, we stayed for 2 nights at the camper parking site
La Spiaggia
Camping Parking Area 'The Beach'
Via Vo' 19 in
25015 Desenzano del Garda.
The diverse sides of this town by the shores of Lake Garda are worth getting to know.
The old harbor, Porto Vecchia, is separated from the new harbor by a bridge and surrounded by beautiful palaces and promenade cafés. The lighthouse, just a few meters away at the new harbor, is also particularly beautiful.
Castello - the castle of Desenzano
The medieval castle from the 9th century above Piazza Malvezzi offers a magnificent view over the old town and the lake.
