Today we traveled from the wonderful accommodation in Whangārei Heads through Kawakawa to Paihia in the Bay of Islands.

After a somewhat cloudy morning, the sun came out in the afternoon. Over the next four days, we will explore the Bay of Islands extensively, starting tomorrow with a tall ship.

For today, we indulged in a delicious dinner with plenty of good seafood and live music.
