The day started off well. At 8 AM, the doctor came to the cabin and gave the okay that he has 'freedom' again, yayyyy. In the morning, we strolled through the little town and bought some medicine for Ernst at the pharmacy, then immediately back to the ship, as the sun was beating down mercilessly on us. At 2 PM, we had a panoramic tour through Fremantle and Perth. We admired the rows of houses, historic buildings, and the charming street cafés that contribute to the charm of this vibrant port city. The next stop was Cottesloe Beach, one of the most popular beaches in Perth. Afterwards, we went to Kings Park, one of the largest inner-city parks in the world. The view of the Perth skyline was simply fantastic. The panoramic drive through Perth was the crowning finale. Tired but happy, we returned to our air-conditioned cabin, so pleasantly cool.
