Island Day 12: Fever and Puffins

Susanne is feeling better again, but I have a fever and spend half the day sleeping in the passenger seat. I'm very grateful that she bravely drove the dusty roads, as I wouldn't have been able to do it today.

Since we've been in Iceland, she's been talking about the puffins that she really wants to see. Our first attempt in Vik wasn't successful, as the puffins were just flying around and we couldn't see any nesting sites. But today in Látrabjarg, it's different. We only have to walk less than 100 meters from the parking lot to a cliff, and there they are - very tame - and willingly pose for photographs.
