Norway Day 9: Heddal

We had originally planned to rent a canoe today and paddle on the Telemark Canal. But the rain that lasted almost the whole day prevented us from doing so.

In front of the Heddal stave church, a sturdy Norwegian man takes selfies with his axe. He asks if I can film him with his phone. I ask if it's for Instagram. Yes, he is Mr. Viking 1 and he is currently filming something with the main actor from Game of Thrones.

Other than that, we spend a cozy afternoon reading in the Grand California.
