Today we started the day very relaxed. It started with a super delicious breakfast basket 🥰 After we had settled in a bit and explored the beautiful complex, we drove along the picturesque Victoria Road to the V&A Waterfront. The view from the road was really fantastic. Mountains, sea, city… a bit of everything 🤩 Afterwards we were able to catch a view of the city from lofty and wobbly heights 🎡 Right next door we went to the Victoria Wharf Mall after the Ferris wheel ride. There was a bit of shopping there. A few new shoes for Anni (unfortunately hers are in the hallway at home 🤦🏽♀️) and a few short clothes for Leo, since it's warmer than expected. We also want to show a little bit of reality here 😅 Shortly before the journey home we had a bit of fun in one of the countless great playgrounds and then we went home. The drive home was a bit adventurous. Of course we left later than planned and the sun had almost set. Anni was a bit muddy all day, had to cough a lot and then unfortunately spit all over the car 🤮 After we cleaned the child and car with wet wipes in a layby in windy gusts, we went home. Anni put it away just fine and is in a good mood again 🙏🏼 Now we're sitting in the dark right now because there's currently loadshedding (a quasi-planned power outage) and we forgot to download an app in advance that shows exactly when, where and for how long there will be no power 🤦🏽♀️ But we have a lamp on site and the cell phones work too. We are better prepared for tomorrow 😄 All in all an exciting day 😅
