Studlagil Canyon

This morning, hiked directly from the campsite to Studlagil Canyon, walking about 2.5 km from the parking lot to the descent. Then went down and did all sorts of climbing on the very impressive basalt cliffs. It's very striking how they are partly vertical, partly horizontal, and in some places 'bent as if by a giant.' Later, continued over Vopnafjoerdur to Bakkafjoerdur to the campsite.
