Day 2 was simply about heading towards Holland
That's exactly what we did today. We had a little over 600 km planned. We slept quite well the first night. Shortly after half past six, we set off and hit the highway. E

After we had a really relaxed and peaceful night, we had breakfast in the sun. Meanwhile, there was a great sense of departure in the area, as some campers moved on. The Dutch are just super nice and even asked if we might want their spot right by the canal. Since we are also leaving tomorrow, we didn't relocate, which will prove to be very valuable later.
Today has been really warm, so cycling was the most pleasant experience. We rode our bikes to Dukumm. A very beautiful town, the little alleys are simply charming. We've already eaten a salty herring, treated ourselves to delicious sweet pastries, and even had an ice cream. In Dukumm, we watched the ships at the harbor exit. My e-bike continuously displayed more kilometers of remaining range than it consumed; it's just absolutely flat here. However, what was a bit annoying was the headwind. By the end of the day, we covered 30 km and we stand out because we silly Germans ride with helmets, which the Dutch do not.
We spent the late afternoon at the camper spot and looked for parking spaces for the coming days.
In the evening, we even went for a little jog, but in this heat, especially on these long straight sections, it isn't very enjoyable.
Some new campers have arrived at the site, and on the other side of the canal, there is quite a celebration happening today.
We hope it cools down a bit so that the night will be somewhat bearable.
