Day 6 heading to Amsterdam
Today the weather is not so great, which is evident from the lack of crowd at the campsite. It was really quiet here today. It took about 1 and a half hours to head towar

After a relatively quiet night at the campground, we had to decide where to go.
Today it was hard for us; we initially wanted to head towards Utrecht, but we decided to go in the direction of the many windmills. (Near Rotterdam)
I was taken by a small parking spot right next to a windmill. So we drove there hoping there would still be a spot for us. When we arrived, there was still quite a lot available, and we chose place number 13 right in front of the windmill.
The weather is very overcast today, but it is still a pleasant 20 degrees.
We then quickly took off on our bikes towards the UNESCO World Heritage site of the windmills at Kinderdijk. We had seen them from afar but didn’t expect so many people to be there all of a sudden. The bike path was hardly navigable.
After a lovely 24-kilometer round trip, we were back at the motorhome, and Andi went for a jog.
The parking spot is so great that you can wonderfully observe the rabbits and ducks in the neighboring field.
There are also some Italians, Spaniards, and a few Germans in the area.
