Mileage: unchanged When we looked out the window in the morning, we could still see the wild rabbits on the campsite grounds.

When we arrived at the desired campsite for the day, we were greeted with the familiar sign: Full!
But this time, we experienced the kindness of fellow campers. As we stood in front of the barrier debating which direction to search next, an older gentleman gestured towards us. We approached him, and as we broke out our tourist French, he slowly and clearly explained that he had observed from his spot how two other campers were packing up and would be leaving in about ten minutes. We went over to the two campers, and they confirmed what he had seen. We waited and then indeed got the desired spot.
Perfect; when it went like that, it was perfect.
We first took a break and then went for a little walk on the completely overcrowded beach.
In the evening, we headed to the trendiest, perhaps the only, restaurant in the area. As we joined the line at the restaurant, it became clear how crucial our reservation from the afternoon had been, since we received our seats at the fully booked 'Le Pointe.' The food was very good, and especially the desserts impressed us.
